The 5 Keys to an Ever Changing Diet

When was the last time you made a big change in your diet? What prompted you to try something different? Here at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, we know that there are no “one size fits all” diet recommendations. Everyone is on their own unique nutritional journey — and as with any adventure, there will be twists, turns, and forks in the road. Sometimes we look back on our path and wonder how we ever could have eaten “that” — but it may have been just what we needed at an earlier time in our life. Many factors can lead us to alter our food choices. Bringing a spirit of experimentation, a dose of curiosity, and a sense of awareness to this process can help us to embrace change with acceptance, openness, and interest instead of fear, resistance, or judgment. In this revealing new video, I’ll explore five major instigators of dietary change and help you gain some perspective on this ever-evolving part of life!
