“Battle Scars are Attractive” Last week I heard Gary V speak and he said these words that touched me deeply — they penetrated my fear and felt like electricity in my blood stream. I am terrified of failing. I hate being embarrassed and I have hidden my scars for as long as I can remember. I have them all over my body — stretch marks and blistered purple skin. And I have more missteps in my closet than I care to mention. I am learning to not only accept this, but embrace it. I prefer to see it this way — a breathtaking mosaic of the battles I have won.
