We cannot avoid difficulties. Life will inevitably be filled with ups and downs. There will be storms. It is reasonable that we would wish, at times, for a life without hardships, but in my experience it’s more effective to learn how to navigate challenge then to avoid it. At the end of the day, there is very little we have control over. And while this can feel scary, I know, we do have a chance to become more masterful with how we face the world and deal with difficulties. There is always a choice there. Learn how to sail your ship.
