Leaving California, I asked Marc to pull over so I could take this picture. My heart has been a bit achy lately… driving down these quiet roads with no other cars or people for miles, I felt my system relax. I started to reflect on the past 5 years and how much my life has changed, how much I have changed. I couldn’t have imagined this life. So much of the world is focused on goal setting and making plans. And while I am all for making plans, sometimes it is just about taking whatever step you can. There is a Rumi line that says “If all you can do is crawl, start crawling” If I am totally honest, that is how I got here. I crawled and crawled and just never stopped.
