My view tonight. In high school I learned of pathetic fallacy. “A literary term for the attributing of human emotion to aspects of nature.” I became quite obsessed with this notion. I found it so hard to articulate how I felt. I was a landscape painter for most of my teen years. And I used to hope that my paintings of nature would communicate that which I could not find the words for. My heart has been aching lately, I haven’t been able to find the words…so this, this picture will have to do. It says it better than I could.
