Some schools of psychology teach that we are not just one single person, but we’re actually more like a crowd of people with multiple different personas. In different contexts and situations, we show up in different personas such as mother, daughter, father, warrior, victim, brother, and so on. When you sit down to eat, there is a particular person who tends to show up to the table as well. An interesting question to begin to explore the next time you sit down to a meal is this: who’s eating right now? In this new video from IPEtv, join me as I explore the nutritional personalities within us. This is a super helpful way to begin to understand the underlying forces that are propelling you to eat the way that you do.
