ah yes, this. this i love, this is (a true demonstration of) strength to me. and this is where i see so much of the wounding happening, sister to sister. so many of us were taught to compete and compare. as if a girlfriend having something or shining bright would take (away) from us. as if there would be less of the love, recognition or attention we crave, as if you having something means i have less of something or am less of someone. sad (painful) and not true as far as i can see. there is no win (really) in tearing each other down, definitely not the way i want to spend my energy and most definitely doesn’t help us get better, look better or be better. perhaps instead we take our envy and channel all that energy into improving ourselves and our world (and maybe even help our sisters achieve their dreams too). these are the women i want around me, these are the women i admire, these are the women i see winning mostly. together we do rise if we are willing to share and support each other. be so busy bettering, caring, and celebrating yourself and others, yes please be the kind of woman you wish to have on your team. this is how we grow (and strengthen truly). this is women supporting women, please…
